Who, or what is Opti? (Vtuber lore) Opti was a student of the Prestigious Athul-Gul Institute of the Arcane Arts, A fairy wizard, kidnapped and transformed into an elite half caster cyborg by Cybernetica laboratories, a lost and splintered faction of earthlings who expanded so far across the stars that tens of thousands of years had gone by, their technological and combat prowess is near perfect but they are driven to achieve total control and domination by any and all means by the twisted control policies of highly advanced A.I's, their purpose goals and programming drifting towards chaos and cruelty as the eons went by so they attempt enslavement and control of powerful entities such has wizards and magical artifacts to bolster their offensive capabilities in the pursuit of absolute galactic domination. Due to an unexpected rogue cyborg attack on the processing facility, Opti eventually breaks free from cybernetica control before being fully conditioned into a drone and with the assistance of a little wizardry frees himself from the mindscape programming tools and unlocks a new AI companion that was implanted in his brain, Prysm which assists him in acquiring a ship from the cybernetica facility to escape and visit the ashes of his old magical academy, encountering Nth dimensional magic wraiths and multidimensional beings as he begins a crusade to recover and restore spacetime from ruptures caused by nth dimensional energy breaches, and restore time and space and recover his lost life by collecting, understanding and resetting Nth dimensional magical artifacts to the institute's ruins, involving temporal and dimensional loops. Opti's lore is a story of recursive time, dimensionality, Fate and power, the abstraction of self into new forms and the mind seeking purpose. Lore wise, Streams are framed as Opti's digital training, combat simulations, testing, adaptation and advancement in cybernetica's mindscape re-programming simulation. Honestly, I kind of like the idea of real democracy, like a hivemind almost, where the individuals get together and make polls and everyone votes on it digitally and it gets done if it reaches certain thresholds, but it would be borderline impossible to enforce or keep fair, it would probably still trend towards a power structure and people feeling left out either way. Honestly I just don't feel like global one for all politics works, or if it does you need many different systems like countries you can pick and choose from to join and take their policies...

Yeah small scaling prettymuch has to be bumped upto 1 which mean someone could pimp you to death, which is not really sensible, it would take a lot of that to actually kill someone, a specific kind of torture if you ask me, but probably possible? i suppose you'd just count hits till it made sense in that case, or multiply the health by 10 and calc it that way in individual strikes, many things are possible, the general rule being keep it simple.

@Opti_VR @woofknight being downed in dnd isn't dying, a normal person would go down with one hit of a bat or something similar unless it you block it with your arms a good hit on your back or head will knock basically anyone and you'll be down for a while, so yeah thats all your health lol

I mean, yeah that's about right a hard hit to the back of the head with a blackjack will knock your ass out, but it doesn't instantly kill you, you generally wake up after ( although it is possible to overdo it, obviously! ) it depends if you want to determine combat effectiveness a "mission kill" if so then yes absolutely. Personally I'd only put the actual damage at maybe 2 points of damage in that case, it will hurt, you'll have a headache, but it's usually not killing you from damage. and yes 5-10 hp for an average to particularly sturdy normal civilian seems fair to me, there are some big bros out there, they can for sure tank more hits, no problem. As for me, I've been hit with some big sticks in my life and it's not really as devastating as you think, unless REAL force is there, it's more about the dead leg / muscle damage or bruising it causes, it hurts like shit but it's not killing you, now if you sharpen it, or get a solid oak club, not a stick, that changes real quick, and if it's swung by a sturdy lad it's going to be able to break bones, you're talking 3 damage range there, so the 1d4 seems fair honestly, break a guy's legs you get fractures and possible femoral bleed out, and you could plausibly die of internal / external bleeding and shock. so again this kind of tracks, it just depends how vicious the hits are. Big ass Conan the barbarian type? yeah you're screwed if that hit lands.

I mean, objectively wrong. The backwards compatible ps3 beats it at literally everything. All digital, better audio, better video, bigger library and has hdmi for more modern device connectivity and upscalers. Plus they are compatible with ps5 controllers so you can use the latest controllers... Literally, NO downside.
