When I was a kid even though I didn’t play youth football, you only had to pay $10 for registration and buy your own cleats. These kids be having to come up with 5-600 for their 6 year old to play tackle football. Insanity

I remember helmets and shoulder pads used to be provided by the park and youth programs, all you had to buy were cleats and a mouth piece. Now parents are paying $1,000+ per sport just to be on the team and all equipment is sold separately from team fees just to play.
