i am so tired of people from other countries posting their opinions on everything america does like anyone asked or gives a single fuck
american politics, the moon mission, our economy, our military, our culture.
the entire world has something to say about everything we do 24/7.
but you never see americans sitting online all day tweeting about what’s happening in your country. ever.
because nobody cares
worry about yourself and fix your own problems.
the obsession with america from people who don’t live here can’t vote here and have zero stake in the outcome is genuinely hilarious
stay in your lane nobody asked you or cares what you have to say
Close every damn U.S. base in Europe. If we keep one, make a bilateral deal with Germany and charge them full freight. NATO is a welfare scam. They ghosted us on the Strait of Hormuz while we carry their lazy asses. Spain banned our bombers. Italy locked bases. Britain waffled. We station 100,000 troops so they can under-spend on defense and lecture us on climate. Enough. Bring our boys home. End the freeloader alliance.
- Pull out of NATO.
- Close all bases and remove all military personal from the UK, Germany, Spain, and France.
- Never protect these countries again.
- Stop all trade with these countries. ZERO.
- Refuse to share any military technologies and don't allow to them to buy any military equipment. Ever.
- Don't share any intelligence with them. NONE.
- Tell them they have to provide 100% of weapons and money to Ukraine.
- Cut them off completely.
@catturd2 U.S. military bases in Europe and the Middle East aren’t just about defense—they’re about influence, rapid response, and protecting global trade routes. They help deter rivals, support allies, and give the U.S. a strategic edge in regions critical to energy, and security
@EmmaRincon 1 more point. If I’m paying for the whole meal I’d leave 10% and give cash. This can also vary depending on the party, a group of 5 friends could leave £10 each no problem, but if your paying for your family and the whole bill, it’s understandably going to be less
@EmmaRincon Also, great service doesn’t mean that fake polite and theatrical service you have in the US. I’m not here to make friends with waiter/waitress, I’m here to eat/drink and enjoy my time with friends/family. Do your job with basic manners which everyone should have, and we’re happy
I went to a steakhouse in Miami, paid the bill, and they automatically added a 20% tip.
When the waiter brought the check, he said: “That tip goes to the whole establishment—if you want to leave something for me, it’s extra.”
I didn’t add anything else—20% is already too much. He gave me a dirty look, like I was robbing him.
This tipping culture is out of control.
This is a genuine question.
When was the last time you bought something in the UK and thought:
“that was good value!”
Because I really struggle to think of one.
@StocksEddie You’re killing it Eddie, and if anyone on X tells you otherwise, they’re full of shit. Stay consistent with your monthly deposits and set your goals in terms of monthly deposits, the market will fluctuate. Enjoy the process pal your on the right track 👍🏼
Be honest with me.
I’m 23 with £22k invested with a goal to reach £50k invested by 25 and 100k by 28.
For a primarily ETF investor, are these goals achievable? Or am I too far behind?
@Heccles94@implausibleblog This is a poor argument. I don’t agree with reform but to think illegal immigration isn’t a problem for the UK is naive. Also, legal migration is also a problem. From the early 90s that has grown from 10s of thausands to 100s of thausands. Over 650k in 2024.
0.9% of the UK population is here illeagally, yet Reform UK blame them for 100% of Britain's problems and it receives 90% of British Media time.
It's a con.
@leadlagreport I like you and your content, but you’ve become very arrogant of late.
Europe has many countries where a normal life is just as good as it would be in America. Having said that, the UK is shite
