The Sword - Age Of Winters Happy 20th anniversary to a pillar of the stoner doom revival. This edition includes a remaster, 3 demo tracks, a gorgeous “Rime And Frost” vinyl pressing, spot-gloss cover, and a bonus die-cut logo sticker. A perfect way to celebrate 20 years.

American Football - LP4 It’s been amazing to watch this band mature and evolve over the years. Jazz and post-rock influences have crept in, resulting in something that may be best described as post-emo? A gorgeous album, no less so for the presence of the always dreamy Wisp.

Tri-State Living - The Music Issue It means so much to hold this in my hands. Record shops and magazines were how I learned about new music and read more about the artists I loved, pre-internet. We are so blessed to have such a wealth of talent here.

Colemine Records continues to be one of the most quietly important independent labels in modern American music. Parlor Greens, Monophonics, Sure Fire Soul, they're building a catalog the way labels used to. The fact that 'Emeralds' is already album-of-the-year material this early in the cycle tells you everything. Independent shops carrying it correctly is half the work.

Parlor Greens - Emeralds Goddamn I love Parlor Greens. Cinematic instrumental funk-soul at its finest, this second outing for the trio hits on all levels. Album of the year material for me right here.

Frozen Soul - No Place Of Warmth Another icy slab of old school slam, the Texas boys bring along a few guests. Read my full review on FB or IG to see why I included a pic of Iceberg.

The Dead Milkmen - Big Lizard In My Backyard The Dead Milkmen taught me that punk didn’t have to be mohawks and tough guys. It could be a bunch of weirdos who felt alienated by the world around them and decided to write songs about it. Happy to have this one available!

KNEECAP - Fenian As much an EDM-laced synth-punk affair as a hip-hop album, Fenian is a fiery bit of revolutionary rap that’s ready for the club floor. The lads have spun Coachella controversy into a golden sophomore album.

Monster Magnet - Dopes To Infinity - Superjudge - God Says No Finally back in print! These early classics from Monster Magnet are some of the best heavy rock albums of the 90’s, and Dopes is one of the greatest of all time for my money. Grab ‘em while you can!

Kacey Musgraves - Middle Of Nowhere Musgraves ascends from pop-country/country-pop stoner babe to something more profound on Middle Of Nowhere. A stunning bit of growth that sees her comfortably securing the legacy she’s truly worthy of.

At The Gates - A Ghost Of A Future Dead R.I.P. Tomas Lindberg Lindbergh’s final work before passing stands with some of his finest, and the album as a whole is both a proper goodbye to the inimitable frontman as it is the perfect bookend to an astounding career.

Benjamin Tod - Vengeance & Grace A stunning double album that is split between 10 songs with a full band treatment and then the same 10 in a solo acoustic “Alone” version. It’s perfect for fans who love his stripped down treatments, as well as those who enjoy the fuller sound.

Luna And The Mountain Jets - Live At Red Rocks An absolutely stunning performance from Teresa and David Prince, forever preserved here on vinyl. Their brand of country indie rock shines here, and Teresa brings the bluegrass to the Red Rocks with heart to spare.

Noah Kahan - The Great Divide The king of post-stomp-clap returns with an 18 track barn burner of Americana-tinged folk pop. As earnest as it is well-crafted and listenable, we’re down to our last few copies of the “American Rust” variant.
