Girl Talk - Night Ripper - Feed The Animals Girl Talk achieved a level of sampling zen on these two albums that I’ve never experienced since. Densely layered, referencing everything from 00’s hip-hop to classic rock, to indie and pop. It’s post-modern perfection.

Temple Of Void - The Crawl Heavy riff-shot Detroit death doom that also incorporates atmospheric synth and a layer of Motor City grit and grime. Guttural vocals are the anchor around which everything else swirls.

Kashus Culpepper - Act I A cosmic gumbo of blues, country, folk, southern rock, soul, Americana, and beyond Act I establishes Culpepper as a force to be reckoned with in independent roots music. Guest spots from Marcus King and Sierra Ferrell only serve to sweeten the deal.
