The Caverns of Time was always meant to be in Vanilla, so in Classic+, I want to see the Amani Empire at the fall of their Empire.
I want to see the Troll Wars, where we can witness the unified Human Empire, Arathor in its glory days. So many potential raids, dungeons & lore.

Somewhere I think *almost* accomplishes this in Midnight is Goldenmist Village.
Having the Nightborne moving into their vineyard areas is a *great* idea, and I wish they went further by making it a full on fusion of Sin'dorei/Shal'dorei building models.

Something I really love about older xpacs are the little racial outposts scattered across the world. They allowed for small race stories in otherwise unrelated zones, and with how many side quest opportunities modern WoW has, it'd be the perfect zone design to bring back in TLT.

@nohitjerome we also have to remember the atmosphere of the game,which is not just knights in super new and clean armor on the start ,we start with simple knights in armor and clothing simillar to lord of the rings and robin hood before shinny armor

The warcraft movie from 2016 has its diehard fans, that LOVE the incredibly well designed orcs, the views of storwmind and ironforge, the gryphons flying over head.
but others have been frustarated for an entire decade that they didnt go with the arthas storyline for the movie.
one commenter mentions that you cant possibly do the lich king story without setting up all the stories of warcraft 3 first. but you could always just do a prequel later right? Like lord of the rings.

On this topic, this actually is why I like the Red Dawn plot quite a bit, and how it handled the Scarlets.
It takes the remnants of the original human villain organizations from vanilla WoW, and puts them into the context of the modern world with the modern factions.

I won't be dooming about this yet, because we've obviously not seen *anything* outside of Aelyse for now. But I really hope that if we do return to Lordaeron, they remember the fundamental rot the Scarlets are built upon -- and that sometimes we don't need to try to redeem that.

I would love for us to reclaim Stratholme at some point in the story and have it serve as a city again; I don't care whether it's the humans or the Forsaken who do it. A quest chain like the one where we recaptured Undercity from Vartimathras in Wrath of the Lich King.
