Yesterday our FFA Officer team delivered enrichment items created by our FFA members to the @toledohumane Society and got to visit the current residents! 🐾🐶🐱

Exciting news! Oregon Clay FFA has received a Silver Rating for our National Chapter Award application! Our officers have worked hard over the last year to develop activities and programming designed to improve growing leaders, building community, and strengthening agriculture!

Up and early for the Ashland Invitational this morning! Oregon Clay FFA members participated in Equine, Nature and Wildlife CDEs today in preparation of state contest coming up! 🙌🙌

We are excited to announce the 24-25 FFA State Degree recipients. These students have worked hard the last few years to meet the qualifications set by the Ohio FFA. We cannot wait to celebrate with them as they walk the stage at State Convention in May to receive their degrees.

So excited for these FFA members! They did a huge amount of work to submit their applications! We’ll hear results soon! 🌟

Congrats to these three officers who all earned GOLD on their respective officer books! Emily Deleon- Secretary, Becca Norden- Reporter and Peyton Brown- Treasurer These three will walk the State Convention stage in May to receive their award! 🌟🌟🌟

Who knew cardboard could be made into so many 3D tools?! Ag 1 students learned about the functions of different tools. There was a drill with a detachable battery and lights to a box cutter that moves to a miter saw that rotates for cuts at different degrees. WOW!

This week, Ag 1 students are practicing their skills in different CDE areas. Today, we are focusing on Equine Management and Vet Science. You can see students practicing applying an E-collar, haltering a cow, snaring a pig, identifying equine breeds, and identify feed types.

Tis the season! Oregon Clay FFA donated wreaths this year to @WreathsAcross America this year! Today we helped place wreaths throughout Willow Cemetery in Oregon! Thanks to the FFA members who showed up to help out! ❄️🎄🇺🇸

Yesterday, our seniors enjoyed the beautiful day by helping Maumee Bay Naturalists and staff clean out the park’s Bluebird houses so they are ready for new, healthy inhabitants! 🪺

Our sophomores gained some new aquatic friends last week in the form of Channel Catfish! The classes held elections and voted to get catfish for their aquaponics tank and now they are hard at work caring for them! 🐟🐟

On Friday, our seniors experienced the “Real World, Real Money” simulation to gain knowledge and experience in personal finances! Students made real world decisions like choosing insurance, childcare, credit rates, etc! 💴💳

The best was saved for last! On Saturday morning, we met up with alumni Christa-Joy Furtney to watch her walk the national stage to obtain her FFA American Degree! This is the highest degree offered, and we are so proud of all her accomplishments!

We had to throw some fun in the mix! We attended the College and Career Expo to speak with companies in the industry, see innovative technology, and they spoke to over 5 colleges about possible majors. After, we attended the rodeo hosted by National FFA!
