Oregon and Gonzaga are very similar programs in the respective worlds of College Football and College Basketball. Both programs have been relevant on the national stage for a significant period of time, but neither has won a national title and they always come up short of the big goal. Gonzaga lost in the NCAA tournament last night, suffering their second consecutive exit in the Round of 32. Oregon got annihilated by Indiana in the College Football Playoff semifinals last season, and in 2024 they were a one-and-done with a blowout loss to Ohio State. Will either program get over the hump and win their sport’s national title in the near future?

@Strick21Chris @FightOnRusty Most of that head to head record is when UO didn’t invest in football…& after Oregon started investing in football, due to its 1994 reboot, we’ve been a different team…but so has USC! And bringing up when USC was actually elite, won’t change UO owning USC now, when it matters!

That would be like saying every season was pointless if usc didn’t win one…but we all know that there’s far more than nattys. The dominance SC had is gone, and UO is one of the biggest reasons for that!

And even the national media has responded at how ignorant the no natty comments are from schools, about Oregon, given their dominance.

The most important thing is—UO is far closer to winning a natty, or several natty’s compared to SC. Proving previous success doesn’t matter NOW!

UO had 4 NFL starting QBs playing last yr! …& outside of maybe 1 school, UO has arguably been QB university in the NFL since the 40’s, starting with Norm Van Broklin. SC has been one of the worst schools for NFL QBs, based on program success—straightASS!

@FightOnRusty USCs new football facility is definitely the nicest community college looking building in CFB🤣🤣🤣…It’s up there with Santa Barbara Community College Unfortunately, UOs current facility is still nicer…And UO is adding onto it, and their weight room, with a new $500M facility!
