We completed the third day of our participation in the Atlantic cruise - #iMirabilis2 leg - 0 Vigo/Canary Islands in the framework of the #iatlantic programme. So far 10 species of #seabirds have been identified accompanied by numerous observations.

Currently retrieving ROV Luso from Dive 2 of #iMirabilis2 Leg 0. I had a great time annotating every sponge, coral, sea cucumber, and fish that we came across during my shift.

Our iAtlantic Fellows received ROV dive training today on #iMirabilis2. Researchers at @_EMEPC_ taught @vinha_beatriz and @KelseyBarnhill1 how to annotate video, log samples, and identify deep sea organisms during a dive.
