@thanos876 Lewis seemed to be more interested in race pace while Charles wanted to push the car. And his race pace was fine so it will be okay, they still have practice before the race

I’m pissed we couldn’t get to see what Lewis could do yesterday, due to that issue which costed him the entire morning session.

I don't think it's very representative when in previous days he had no trouble in single laps. The practice start was amazing, so not worried.

He tested the new rear wing and then the car had a technical issue with the chassis, that's why he did only 5 laps in the morning session and was stuck in the pits for over 3 hours... The afternoon session was long runs.

His last season wasn’t great either with Mercedes, there were times George was fighting up front whilst he was further back. Even this season in Hungary, Spa or Jeddah he wasn't there.

@thanos876 For the past two seasons, his teammates have often been securing poles and front-row starts, whilst he has sometimes struggled to even escape Q2. If he needs a car that is almost 100% tailored for him to operate at a high level, that's an issue, you need to adapt your style.

Lewis still has pace to compete at the front, (far more than the geriatric donkey), the car needs to be there for him to show it.

@the_zb_ Highly unlikely that Hamilton is going to Overtake Leclerc from P20, you need a massive pace decifit between the cars.

In the race tomorrow, Lewis should likely finish ahead of Charles as it stands. Sunday’s already over for Leclerc with the wing decision for quali, he’s a sitting duck with an aging PU. Given the PU literally CUT OFF during a quali hot lap, it’s a better idea to start from pit lane, change the wing, and put a fresh PU in the car and hope for some overtakes. A full shutdown MID LAP should be more than enough to demonstrate a component issue and avoid the budget cap hit.
