@henrywinter Tuchel is paid £5m to influence the tactics and how England should play. I didn't see him get off his backside and shout at the players to get up the pitch and stop dropping back into their own box. Doubling down saying he has no regrets wont win the supporters over.

@DougieCritchley Well if it wasn't his plan, why didn't he get up off his ass and direct the players tactics instead of just capitulateling and throwing defenders on. Surely reorganising the midfield would have been the better tactical option?

I find it extraordinary the u-turns that so many commentators, professional or not, have made on Tuchel on the basis of last night. Football fans have always been extraordinarily fickle, but if you were one of the ones commending his in-game substitutions, his use of the squad as a whole (despite key players being half-fit) and ability to elicit genuine world class performances out of Bellingham throughout and Kane in patches... Then you CANNOT be calling for his sacking, on the basis of conceding 2 goals against the world champions from 85 minutes onwards. Do you think it was a managerial instruction to drop deep, fail to retain the ball and invite pressure? Do you think that was his masterplan? It's never solely on the manager, it's never solely on the players.

Nottingham Forest are considering launching a formal complaint to the Premier League over the punishment given out to Chelsea over undisclosed payments. The law of averages for every team in the Premier league has them scoring a scruffy/deflected,mis-hit or own goal. Why does this not ever apply to Forest!? #NFFC

@adamxw9 @maybebrayyy Exactly that and the fact the scorer is level-ish with the penalty spot, unopposed, and the ball is headed downward, makes it very hard for a big keeper to get down quickly to.

@OriginalKLD @maybebrayyy Yup those goals are a lot bigger than people think. It’s very hard for Sels to cover both corners. If the header isn’t right in the corner he’s got a chance. We’ve scored a few of those headers ourselves, are all Prem keepers crap or is it actually quite difficult to save those

obviously Aina should do much better, but anyone who’s played in goal will tell you that Sels has had an absolute mare, for two reasons #NFFC
