One thing I learnt from Twitter this year is to not fly airlines of countries where human rights is not respected. The ordeal of that Nigerian man flying to the US in the hands of Qatar Airways and the Qatari judicial system was my eureka moment. European airline operators only.

I just stumbled on a note I wrote in October 2021, evidently very angry at one of my friends back then.
I typed out the entire rant I wanted to send to him in my notes instead and never sent it.
Seeing it now, I'm very glad I didn't send it. It absolutely would've achieved nothing and would've just been unnecessary conflict and bad blood.
Everything I was angry about then was valid but in hindsight, did not matter at all.
Thank God for my dad's advice: "when you are angry, write out a letter to whoever upset you venting your anger at them in clear detail. Then burn it. No one cares. If you can do something about it do it, if not, move on. Talking achieves nothing."
Heard it as a teenager but it served me well as an adult. 🙏🏽

I deleted my childhood friend’s number today because I didn’t want to see her WhatsApp status anymore. She seems to be doing well for herself, a stable business, a healthy relationship basically everything. Meanwhile, I’m on the other end, struggling with almost everything in my life, I know I shouldn't compare but deep down it keeps coming up I’m genuinely happy for her, but I can’t deny that it stings to see someone we started life together doing better. Does this make me a bad person?
