@awmackenzie @physoc Pleased to see organisations like @physoc being vocal in their defence of animal research. Problems in the past have stemmed from lack of transparency, so hopefully engaging openly about the need for this kind of research will lead to more constructive conversations about it.

@JamieBGall I doubt anybody would be put off if you charge VAT but if they have a fixed amount of money/grant that they can spend on a project and they can't reclaim the VAT, essentially it means you have to take a 20% hit. Or you have to adjust your offering to compensate. It's frustrating!
