@Osint613 Erdogan is a Pontic Greek forced islamized descendant who is coping with identity issues by larping as an extreme Islamist and nationalist to prove himself as a Turk, but he will never be a real Turk. His real enemy is Turkishness but he defends it. Total blindness.

Between March 22 and 26, 1920, the Armenian population of Shushi in Artsakh endured one of the most devastating massacres in modern Armenian history. The events constituted a coordinated attack carried out by forces referred to at the time as “Caucasian Tatars” (present-day Azerbaijanis), with the backing of the Musavat government. Thousands of Armenians were killed, churches were burned, and the city’s schools, libraries, and cultural institutions were systematically destroyed. In 1919, Artsakh had been declared an inseparable part of Armenia by the Fourth and Fifth Artsakh Congresses. Despite this, Azerbaijani authorities, led by Governor-General Khosrov Sultanov and aligned with the Young Turks, pursued deliberate policies aimed at eliminating the Armenian presence in the region. On March 23, 1920, under the pretext of disarmament, Turkish officers and armed groups entered the Armenian quarters of Shushi and unleashed a new wave of violence. The city was set ablaze, and what had once been a thriving Armenian cultural center was reduced to ruins. Only an estimated 5,000 to 6,000 Armenians survived, many fleeing to Varanda and Dizak. The consequences of these events continue to resonate today. In 2023, the Armenian population of Artsakh was forcibly displaced following what has been widely described as ethnic cleansing. The region remains under Azerbaijani control, and its centuries-old Armenian cultural heritage faces ongoing destruction and erasure. The legacy of Shushi in 1920 endures not only as a symbol of profound loss, but as a call to preserve memory, defend historical truth, and ensure that such atrocities are neither forgotten nor repeated.

@sonofseljuks @V80935 Constantinople is useless For Armenians there is no future there. What mattered was our own cities of ani Erzurum erzincan van To develop civilization and continue there. under Byzantine administration Armenians could, but ottomans destroyed the Armenian demographics.

@V80935 If we hadn't conquered Anatolia and taken Istanbul, Byzantium wouldn't even have allowed you to enter Istanbul. We allowed you to trade and prosper in Istanbul. We gave you the title of "loyal nation." Now it's time for you to earn the nickname we gave you again.

@alptiginn93 @hayqmets Yes Seljuks destroyed ani, malatya, kars, Erzurum manzikert. And then gradually Armenian provinces became less Armenian and ruined demographically Under especially ottoman rule. Armenians “lived” with Turks the same way Bulgarians did, from Bulgaria being demographically ruined

Before the Armenians were incited by the Russians against the Turks, just take a look at the history books; examine the position of the Armenians during the Seljuk and Ottoman eras. Look at their prestige and their status. You will see that the Armenian community lived hand in hand with the Turks and were highly respected.

🇦🇲🇷🇺🇹🇷 Pashinyan denounces the struggle of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire and blames Russia for it. "From the 1830s until 2023, all of us in Armenia have viewed the world through Zatulin's (Russia's) eyes. And the choice is as follows. In 2026, the citizens of Armenia have to make a choice, whether they trust what they see with their own eyes, or whether they trust the eyes of Zatulin (Russia). Do they agree that we should again enter the cycle of history that started in the 1850s and ended in 2023, and during that time, what happened? We are no longer a nation treated as a victim of history."

@Warhammer_98 @hayqmets turkey do not want prosperity for Armenia, they greedily destroyed artsakh after destroying Erzurum van taron Nakhichevan Beforehand. It is naive to think that such a destructive nation wants authentic peace. Turkey’s government wants to torture and destroy Armenia.

@hayqmets I’m slowly starting to think that some Armenians actually take pleasure in suffering. They don’t want what’s best for their country. I mean, I dont want Armenians to live in prosperity and in peace with Turks. In that case, I hope you succeed in overthrowing Pashinyan.

🇦🇲 So far, the Western-installed and backed Pashinyan has managed to: 1. Question the Armenian Genocide and promote denialist rhetoric 2. Denounce the struggle of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire 3. Renounce various forms of Armenian identity and symbols that could possibly antagonize Turkey 4. Pledge to change the Armenian constitution at Aliyev's demands 5. Call for merging the Armenian and Azerbaijani energy systems (attaching Armenia to Azerbaijan) 6. Surrender Karabakh, abandon negotiations over it, and facilitate the ethnic cleansing of its population 7. Surrender the "Zangezur Corridor" ("TRIPP") to NATO, gaining nothing in return while Armenia remains blockaded 8. Sabotage and dismantle Armenia's decades-old, reliable security system 9. Completely surrender control of Armenia to outside forces, with the country now run from Washington, Brussels and Ankara 10. Continue to run an unprecedented campaign against the Armenian Apostolic Church, seeking to destroy it

@neslihanfzlgl54 @AraratianVine That’s not really true although Armenians regionally are a bit different and have varying phenotypes most are not really heavily dark skinned And don’t really differ from Pontics or other Anatolian Greeks. But some regional type of Armenians do differ.

@KarinaKarapety8 Ethnic cleansing is exactly what Armenians did. The atrocities, brutal executions, and genocide committed by Armenia during its occupation of Karabakh are clear examples of ethnic cleansing. Why should it now accuse Azerbaijan of ethnic cleansing?

The 🇦🇲 #Hamshen Principality, which was once part of the Greek Pontic Empire of Trebizond, was destroyed by the Ottomans in 1461. Tax records from 1564 indicate that the people of Hamshen were ✝️. The most common names in the region during that time were Sargis & Kirkor. #Համշէն
