We went for a nature walk to look for animal habitat's this week. We also did a sit spot to quietly observe and listen for the animals. Look what we found!

Today was our last day to raise funds for #LooniesforLiteracy. We wore RED to celebrate all the books we READ! Our pride in taking on these literacy challenges is through the roof and so is the list of books that we read. You can still help us by scanning the QR @HABschoolCBE

Another week of #LooniesforLiteracy and today everyone wore a hat for our "Hats Off To Literacy" day. We continue to raise money for books in our school, you can scan the QR code and help us reach our goal @HABschoolCBE

This week we learned how to solve word problems using the C.U.B.E.S. strategy. First, we Circle the numbers, Underline the question, Box math action words, Evaluate what step to take, and Solve and check.

This week we have learned different ways to show our work for multiplying numbers. We can use repeated addition, equal groups, arrays, skip counting, and 100's chart. Take a look!

We are learning how to cooperate and compromise with classmates to make a restaurant menu. We can create meals that are healthy based on the Canadian Food Guide. @HABschoolCBE

Last week we created monsters out of polygons. Then we used adjectives to describe them. This week we are writing a descriptive paragraph about our monster to see if a peer can draw all of the details that we drew! @HABschoolCBE

We wrapped up 2022 by making a memory jar! We also made an emotion wheel to practice creating abstract art based on an emotion. Take a look! @HABschoolCBE
