Except the filioque was a later Western addition to the Creed. The words "and the Son" were not included in the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed of AD 381. And the filioque was resisted by multiple Popes for hundreds of years.

The Nicene Creed was formalized at the Council of Nicaea in AD 325 and refined at Constantinople in 381. It was written to define orthodoxy against heresy, not to be recited mindlessly. Every line was hammered out in theological controversy.

I reckon it may be because it's used to anchor your false claim to the orthodoxy of the Eastern Chalcedonian sect.

@romero_mau69771 In the Q & A after the showing - they indicated it would soon be coming to various platforms. (Big screen, obvs, was a plus, tho.) But heck yeah. I ain't much of a TV guy, way less a movie theater man. But, as of this moment, I hope to watch it often. It's artsy! But dawg. Dang!

Before there was ZZ Top there was Moving Sidewalks. Traces of Texas reader Lee Ann Lavender graciously sent in this OUTSTANDING photo of Billy F Gibbons and his band in 1967. Billy is standing on the right, looking down at his guitar. The Moving Sidewalks were playing at a church dance somewhere on Westheimer. Lee Ann's mom, Carol Lavender, was Billy's girlfriend at the time and that's her dancing on the far right. This is so cool and so historic I can hardly stand it.
Thank you, Lee Ann! This made my week!

JERUSALEM — A memorial service was held at the Church of the Resurrection in Jerusalem to commemorate the soul of Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, following his recent repose at the age of 93. The service was organized by the Patriarchate of Jerusalem in honor of the long-serving Georgian primate.
