Reaching the Spanish-speaking people in Springfield, Ohio (Home Missions Today) Jefferson & Ellen De Oliveira Iglesia Presbiteriana Alfa y Omega (OPC) Springfield, Ohio Pastor Jefferson De Oliveira reports, “Consistent attendance at our worship services and Bible studies have been a defining encouragement for our congregation this spring. We also recently rejoiced in the baptism of a covenant child. Each Tuesday, I preach the word of God at the ESL ministry of Light of the Nation OPC, and throughout the week I participate in local community activities. These opportunities allow me to build relationships, share the gospel of Jesus Christ, and invite people to church. I am also leading discipleship classes with a young man who approached me expressing his desire to surrender his life to Jesus and be baptized. Praise the Lord! In addition, we thank God for the recent birth of our fourth child. Ellen and the baby are doing well and recovering. Please pray that our church will grow in love for Jesus Christ and devotion to His word.”
