Mitchell enjoyed his relaxing massage in the Hive! These massage sessions always create a serene and comfy start to the week.

As Spring arrives the garden club are ready for more sunny days to come! They were all busy sowing many seeds into the garden that were kindly donated to us. We look forward to seeing the flowers grow over the coming months.

Everyone was moving and dancing this afternoon! At Genesis the music in the Social Zone was blaring and everyone danced the day away.

Faye has had a busy Easter period in the art room! Not only did she create a beautiful Easter hat for boss baby, she also made and designed her own mug.

The garden club this week was very busy! From getting ready for Easter by putting together nests to planting spuds to grow into tasty potatoes. Everyone did an amazing job!

Welcome to The Green Bike Project team Olly! Olly will be essential in supporting the team at the project develop their skills in refurbishing bikes. We are very excited to see his experience be used to help improve the quality of life of adults with disabilities.

There is nothing like a bit of karaoke to lift everyone’s spirits up! Everyone at our Thursday social club loved singing their hearts out to their favourite songs.

Happy World Book Day 2024! This is one of Genesis’ favourite days of the year. Dressing up as all our favourite characters guarantees to make the day full of fun. The two major book themes for this year were Alice in Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

All about bees 🐝🐝🐝 Men’s group was swarmed by a variety of activities all centred around bees! A special surprise was the full bee keeper outfit that everyone got to try on.

A brand new week means lots of new ideas for art projects! Christian is getting stuck into making his own paper mâché clown. Faye made a a new tie for her favourite character Boss Baby and Alice is busy making a house for her new guinea pig!

Drama club at Genesis is always full of energy and fun! Today was no exception as everyone was up and learning new dance moves as a group.

Happy Leap Day! The garden club have been learning all about the life cycle of frogs and making their own paper frogs! They also got stuck into creating their own stunning paper flowers which looked amazing.

The Genesis social zone was filled with Hawaiian music today. As everyone enjoyed their dance lesson in Hula, a form of expression that came with colourful skirts!

The drama group had another cinema outing today! They all watched the animated film Migration and had a brilliant time.

A big thank you to @aceanglia for giving a talk to our Genesis community about how to keep your heart healthy! It was both accessible and extremely informative for all service users here.

Today The Green Bike Project dropped off our gift to @SEHFrench for building our new workshop! The guys from The Green Bike Project refurbished the bike and our lovely garden club decorated it with plants. We are very grateful for all the help SEH has given our charity.

Valentine's Day was yesterday and we are continuing on with our theme of hearts! Everyone was tasked with finding plants that had heart patterns on them. Once inside the garden club created beautiful hearts using all natural materials.

With Valentines Day fast approaching we have had hearts and flowers on our minds at Genesis. The garden club therefore decided to craft some beautifully decorated hearts using all natural materials. Everyone worked hard and they all came out looking beautiful.

Tasty puff pastry hot dogs were on the menu today! It was lovely seeing the amazing chefs who were preparing them as they did a brilliant job learning the skills to put them together.
