I was barely 5 during the 2001 Jos crisis. 3 things that stuck in my head even as child. Black smoke, first time i saw thick smoke in the skies from different angles. Food rationing, I clearly remember the portions being smaller and bland. Gun shots/sirens, sounds still haunt me
