this is what happens when you don’t pay attention and take “20-4” out of context, almost half the time there were hundredths separating them and qualifying being oscar’s biggest weakness last season, he has improved dramatically over the break and is now just simply better 😭

I got told that Oscar Piastri would struggle in these regulations because the cars would have less downforce meaning less grip and in his first laps/race of the season he drops a masterclass P2 in the 3rd fastest car when you haven’t had a race in these cars is so impressive

McLaren just by shaving excess weight from their car look a lot better, this is probably the closest they’ve been to Mercedes so far this season Positive signs and this is without any upgrades on the car. Oscar looking real good so far too
