One year ago today, the people of Ireland entrusted me with a mandate to lead the community as Taoiseach na hÉireann. I am privileged and honoured to be able to say that one year later, I have a similar mandate but this time to represent them and their voices as their President.

The President hosted global delegations at Dublin Castle yesterday for the annual St. Patrick's Day Diplomatic Reception. In his remarks, the President focused on St. Patrick's role as a diplomat and the lessons global leaders can learn from his story today.
