Yesterday, I added another feather to my cap with the successful completion of my Master of Laws (LL.M) from Adeleke University, where I was honored as the Best Overall Master's Student in the faculty. This feels surreal, and my heart is filled with immense joy and gratitude.

EID-EL-FITR: IGBALAYE FELICITATES MUSLIMS, URGES FAITHFUL TO UPHOLD LESSONS OF RAMADAN. Osogbo –19/03/2026 The Secretary to the Osun State Government, Bobagunwa Teslim Igbalaye, has felicitated with Muslim faithful in Osun State and across Nigeria on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan. In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media and Digital Communication, Kehinde Adeoye, Chief Igbalaye congratulated Muslims for the successful completion of the 30-day fasting period, praying for continued peace, prosperity, and good health for all residents of the state. He called on the Muslim Ummah to sustain the spiritual gains recorded during Ramadan, emphasizing the need to uphold the core values of perseverance, tolerance, compassion, and peaceful coexistence. The SSG urged adherents of the Islamic faith not to depart from the virtues imbibed during the holy month, but rather to reflect them in their daily conduct and interactions with others. “Today, I join millions of Muslims across the world in celebrating Eid-el-Fitr with our brothers and sisters in Osun State and Nigeria at large. This celebration marks the end of a month-long period of spiritual rejuvenation through fasting, prayers, and devotion. “As we celebrate, I urge us all not to allow the sacrifices and spiritual exercises of Ramadan to be in vain. Let the lessons of discipline, humility, and kindness be evident in our words, actions, and relationships with one another. “We must not confine our good deeds to the Ramadan period alone. Instead, let us make them a continuous part of our daily lives for the betterment of our society,” he stated. Signed: Kehinde Adeoye, Special Assistant on Media and Digital Communication to the Secretary to the Osun State Government.

Yesterday, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye 11, hosted leaders, Islamic clerics, and Muslim faithful at the 2026 Ramadan Tafsir held at the palace. It was a refreshing and spiritually enriching gathering, where we were reminded of the core lessons of Ramadan and the importance of upholding these values even beyond the holy month.

I paid a condolence visit to the family of one of Nigeria’s foremost businessmen and industrialists, Late Prince Amuda Youssouf Lawal (OBELAWO), who just passed. Baba Obelawo was a renowned industrialist, elder statesman, socialite, and a prominent figure among the second generation of Nigeria’s wealthy entrepreneurs. He was widely regarded as one of the most influential businessmen of his generation in West Africa. A man who travelled far and wide, his influence and connections transcended borders and generations. Throughout his remarkable life, Baba Obelawo wined and dined with heads of state and presidents, leaving an indelible mark in business, leadership, and society. He was a great inspiration to businessmen, entrepreneurs, and politicians alike, and until his passing, he exemplified true statesmanship. Baba will be greatly missed. I condole with the entire family, baba's wives, children, relatives, associates, as well as the people of Osun State, Nigeria, and indeed Africa for this monumental loss. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

I represented Governor Ademola Adeleke at the ALGON 2026 Ramadan Lecture, a gathering that brought together local government leaders and members of the Muslim community in a spirit of reflection, prayer, and unity. The event was a moment of deep supplication and spiritual admonition for His Excellency, the Osun State Government, and indeed the good people of Osun State. The prayers and counsel offered during the lecture showed the importance of righteous leadership, patience, and collective responsibility in governance. The lecture was led by the revered Islamic scholar, Abdullahi Olorunlomonerue, whose insightful message reminded leaders and followers alike of their duties to one another, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan. I also used the opportunity to commend the local government chairmen and councillors for their resilience, steadfastness, and commitment to service despite the ongoing local government allocation challenges. Their calmness and unalloyed dedication to the people of their respective councils remain worthy of recognition. It was indeed a gathering that reinforced the values of faith, unity, and perseverance, while offering prayers for continued peace, progress, and prosperity in Osun State.

I was delighted to receive the leadership of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), led by the Deputy Registrar, Dr. Nnaemeka Nwakanma, who represented the Registrar of the council, Prof. Fatimah Kyari, during a courtesy visit of the accreditation team to the Government House where they conveyed the good news of the final full accreditation of the College of Medicine at Osun State University (UNIOSUN). Achieving this milestone within just seven years of the programme’s commencement is a remarkable feat and a strong testament to the commitment of our administration to improving tertiary education and strengthening medical training in Osun State. This recognition, which places UNIOSUN at par with leading institutions such as University of Lagos, Obafemi Awolowo University and Ahmadu Bello University in terms of training capacity, is a proud moment for our state. We will continue to invest in education, healthcare infrastructure, and human capacity development to ensure that Osun remains a center of excellence for learning and innovation while contributing meaningfully to addressing the challenge of brain drain in Nigeria.

As we step into the month of March, with the fasting period still ongoing, may our prayers be accepted, our sacrifices richly rewarded, bringing us closer to Allah and to one another, and ushering us into a fulfilling and grace-filled month. Happy New Month!

Mr. President, release the local government funds to the duly elected local government officials in Osun State. Then the good people of Osun can talk about forgiving you for the suffering you imposed because of your nephew Oyetola and Oyebamiji. Either which ways, they will be lose.

Today, I proudly welcomed our tech community to the maiden Osun Tech Festival, a major step in our journey to position Osun State as a leading digital economy. When we assumed office in 2022, there were no clear tech policies or digital structures. We made a firm decision that technology would become the foundation of our governance. Today, Osun has a State ICT Policy, a Tech Innovation Policy, domesticated the Startup Act, and strengthened digital governance through faster land documentation, payroll transparency, and improved investor access. We have enhanced public safety with the reactivated toll-free 293 emergency line, launched Imole WiFi, and advanced the Safe City Initiative. We also launched AlphaStart Hub to support startups, with more hubs coming across the state, alongside new frameworks for AI, blockchain, and digital education through Imole EduPod. From next fiscal year, we will begin structured grants to support tech startups. Osun is not adapting to the future — we are shaping it. We remain open to innovation, partnership, and investment.

A woman that designated a whole VC of UNIOSUN as a ghost worker should not expect a reasonable government will pay her tones of billions of naira of her claims after a badly done job by her and her team The media blackmail she's embarking on will not get her the money she wants to claim from the government. The opposition figure that has contracted her for the media hatchet job she has embarked on should go and rest. They're the one's that put the state into the mess the current government is clearing.
