Mud ring feeding is a cooperative hunting technique used by bottlenose dolphins in shallow, muddy waters. One dolphin rapidly swims in circles around a school of fish while striking the seafloor with its tail, stirring up a thick ring of sediment that acts like a “mud net.” Trapped and disoriented, the fish leap out of the water to escape straight into the waiting mouths of the other dolphins surrounding them.

PCA nearly makes a great catch up against the fence in center but can’t come up with it, ends up hearing from #WhiteSox fans and chirping back. #CrossTown #Cubs

Chicago in a nutshell 😂🌭🏙️ Where: • The CTA is somehow both early and 45 minutes late • Everyone from Naperville says they’re “basically from Chicago” • Wrigleyville starts partying before brunch even ends 🍻 • Bears fans begin every season with “THIS is our year” just to end it in emotional damage 🐻💔 • Sox fans survive purely out of spite • Deep dish is for tourists, but Italian beef is a religious experience 🤌🥖 • Lake Michigan acts like a whole ocean 🌊 • Winter makes you question every life decision you’ve ever made ❄️ • Then summer hits and suddenly Chicago becomes the greatest city on Earth ☀️🔥 And no matter what side you’re from, one thing unites everybody: complaining about traffic, rent, parking, weather, and the CTA… while refusing to live anywhere else 😂 Chicago isn’t just a city. It’s delayed trains, corner stores, lakefront sunsets, random street festivals every weekend, dibs chairs in winter, and arguing over which pizza place is overrated. It’s chaos. It’s culture. It’s character. And honestly? We wouldn’t trade it for anything. 🖤❤️ #ChicagoHistory 🥜
