Here’s my observations after talking/texting with a few people who’ve been in the building for OTA’s not only this year but in past years. 1. Todd Monken has already won over not only the players but the building as a whole. 2. He pushes the limits on allowable work/practice time.(good, opposite of the past) 3. More time spent on “playing football” more time in team and 7 on 7 periods 4. Watson/Shedeur both have looked good. Watson arm and legs look rejuvenated. 5. Linebackers look like a top unit in football. Will all of this equal wins ? Time will tell but many are cautiously optimistic.

I know people are allowed to mow their lawns during the day, but 7 a.m. every Saturday is starting to feel rough 😅 My neighbor fires up the mower like clockwork every weekend, and Saturday is usually my one morning to sleep in after a long work week. I did ask once if he’d consider waiting until around 9 a.m., especially since the yard only takes about 30 minutes, but he said he likes getting it done early. I get it. It’s his yard, and he’s not necessarily doing anything wrong. But when the whole street is still quiet, that mower feels extra loud. I’ve tried earplugs, white noise, and closing the windows, but nothing really blocks it out. Maybe I’m just tired, but I do wish there was a little more consideration for neighbors on weekend mornings. Be honest, is 7 a.m. too early to mow on a Saturday, or is that still fair game?
