@postsofMich@kdrama_outofbox He is the main lead in Soundtrack 2.
He has recently been casted as main lead in "Gold digger" as well (recent news update)
@perfectcrown_bd (Maybe this is not directly related) I am glad the team consist of translators. If bluray version is going to be released, I am sure international fans would really appreciate it if there was English subtitles. (Unfortunately, we didn't get this for some other popular drama).

@Jiannazz It feels like he was apologetic but also at the same time, a promise that he would be there for her throughout all the challenges she may face when she becomes part of royal family.
@Jiannazz I thought the act of him placing the slice of fish so carefully on the plate, serving it to her while (somewhat tenderly) asking her to have her fill before their marriage was such a sweet & thoughtful gesture.
He is probably used to being served, than to serve someone else.
Episode 4: restaurant scene
This restaurant scene is the first time that
Min Jeongwoo openly challenges the idea of Heejoo marrying Prince Lee Ahn not just politically, but personally.
And what makes it painful is that Jeongwoo is NOT entirely wrong.
When Heejoo discovers that Lee Ahn cannot even eat raw fish, it shocks her because she suddenly sees how restricted his life really is.
Not just:
where he lives
what he says
whom he marries
But even:
what he eats
how he appears in public
whether he can enjoy something simple
That is why she blurts out:
“What a load of crap. How are you supposed to find joy in life?”
This is such an important line, because she is finally reacting not to “the Grand Prince,” but to Lee Ahn as a person.
She is angry on his behalf. And then she says: “Am I not allowed not to have them too?”
That line is almost like a promise. Because what she means is:
“If I marry you, then I will lose these freedoms too.”
But she says it without backing away. She is upset by the unfairness, not frightened enough to leave.
Then Jeongwoo says: “That’s why you shouldn’t marry him.”
And he says it directly in front of Lee Ahn.
That is significant because Jeongwoo is not just attacking Lee Ahn. He is warning Heejoo too.
In Jeongwoo’s eyes, Lee Ahn’s world is a cage. He knows: the loneliness, the restrictions and the impossibility of that life. So perhaps a part of him thinks:
“If you care about her, you should not drag her into this.”
But there is another layer too. Jeongwoo also says it because he cannot bear watching Heejoo choose Lee Ahn.
He has always been the safer, kinder, easier option: he understands her, he has history with her and he can offer her a life without so much pain
Yet she keeps choosing the one person who cannot give her anything easily.
And Lee Ahn’s reaction is very telling.
He folds his arms, gets visibly annoyed, and stays quiet. Normally, Lee Ahn always has the sharper argument.
But here, I think aside from the flashback he cannot immediately respond because Jeongwoo has touched on his deepest fear:
“What if loving me only ruins her life?”
That is probably the one thing Lee Ahn genuinely worries about. Because he knows Jeongwoo is right about the restrictions.
And that is why this scene hurts him more than the jealousy. But Jeongwoo’s words hit the place where Lee Ahn is most vulnerable:
the fear that he may love Heejoo, but still not be good for her.

@namjhyuns It's packed with so many hints.. & I have eureka moments every night thinking about the drama (production set, lines, outfits, reaction etc) glad the actual artist also posted on how even the orchids drawn resembles I-An's nature of concealing its fragrance without revealing it🥰
It seems the use of this colour is actually frown upon & Yi An is prohibited from using it since it’s the colour of the King’s robe, but Huiju just shows up wearing it.
I swear, the first episodes were packed w/ details giving hints as to where the story is going.
#PerfectCrown
Just read in Grand Prince Yi An’s official character description that his favourite colour is red. Did Huiju know and is that why she choose to wear a red suit when entering the Palace?

@ruvIsly I absolutely love this conversation, showing us I-An is a few steps ahead of Hui Ju and has already had her figured out with that smile. He didn't expect her to back down (and honestly, he enjoyed the chase deep down).
“i thought you two went to the same school. you couldʼve just said no and politely declined her offer. you can be so mean” heʼs just as insane as her hyeon
@namjhyuns I love the use of the fan here, focusing only on his eyes. He looks fascinated and curious at the same time with the offer and needing that minute to pause.. it is weirdly a heart fluttering moment for me (not only because of his facecard) but the way he stared at her..
Back in Joseon, the fan was a subtle way to communicate emotions. This kind of indirect expression aligns with Confucian etiquette, where overt emotion was often restrained.
Yi An works in micro-expressions, so this action is actually huge.

@namjhyuns she knew that after she helped him while he was sick, her pitch needed to change. She had seen him "unmasked," so she had to unmask herself.
She used her vulnerability & turned the "weakness" of her feelings to bridge their worlds.
@namjhyuns I am so happy that I found you on X. I am as hyped about the details of the characters and the storyline as you are.
By telling him how she felt, she isn't just making a pitch; she’s showing him her bruise. She does not want charity but respect instead.
Random #PerfectCrown thoughts on another reason why Yi An finally proposes marriage to Huiju:
When Huiju went to see Yi An, after the scandal broke, they talked about their high school’s archery competition.

@ByeonwooseokTw Unsure why the original reporter's IG ID (hyeryoung.jang) was not mentioned and edited out from her post. The words (in English) pasted in the pic was taken word for word from loveholicbws' Thread. Reporter Naeri was mentioned because there was earlier post shared on Thread.
