Today we recognize Jewish Heritage Month, formally established by Parliament through Bill S 232 in 2018. We celebrate the many Jewish Members of Parliament who have contributed to the House of Commons, and all the Jewish Canadians who have contributed to Canada’s heritage.

Today we recognize Asian Heritage Month, officially recognized by the Government of Canada in 2002. We celebrate the contributions of all the Canadians and the many parliamentarians of Asian descent, enriching the fabric of the country.
