Nursery have been exploring this half terms CST theme of Solidarity and Peace. They discussed what the word peace means and how we can be peacemakers. The children then made their own dove handprint pictures. 🕊️

Year 1 were exploring tens and ones this morning in maths.

On Wednesday, a group of year 5 and 6 children were wowed by the magic maths of Andrew Jeffreys who joined us at OLM for our third Aim High maths day.

Year 5 are experimenting with friction in their new science topic!

Year 1 had great fun colouring mixing to create secondary colours in Art. 🎨🖌️

Great advice for keeping children safe online.

Nursery had a great first day back to school. They went outside to see the ice & spent time working together to see how they could get it out of one container into another. They looked closely at the leaves that had frozen in the ice & observed the patterns they could see. ❄️🧊

Y4O really enjoyed making musical instruments in Science today. They were able to produce different sounds by blowing and creating vibrations.

Year 3 are getting to grips with length in maths today. They are measuring using metre sticks and tape measures.

After a beautiful end of term mass, Year Six are enjoying a morning of board games 🎲

Year Six have created some beautiful designs for their calendars.

Years Five and Six treated friends and family to a wonderful carol concert with beautiful readings and singing. We are so proud of them 💜

Nursery have been creating bubble prints to recreate the stormy water in the story 'The Everywhere Bear'

Year 1, enjoyed making a matching slider game this afternoon in design and technology.

Year 3 applied heat and pressure to layers of coloured play dough to recreate the creation of metamorphic rock during science this week.

Year 3 wowed us all with their amazing Christmas nativity performance this week!

Reception loved being with their Year 5 buddies this afternoon. They worked together create a beautiful Christmas tree!🎄
