I don't think people are mad at people watching a playthrough; it's the problem when people start spitting opinions like they actually played. Watching playthroughs growing up for certain games via radbrad is goated, especially when I didn't have money, but I'm not gonna act like I played it or join convos about gameplay.

It’s worth noting I believe it is possible to be a fan of a game that is intended to be spectated through competition. See most esports, But most games are made as interactive media meant for you the player to interact with to then become a fan.

If the reason is economics it’s one thing. But some people really only engage in playthroughs, essays and recaps. The issue bred is; you don’t form your own view from this. You mimic whatever content you view. Commonly causing people to miss the experience required to be a fan

last thing I will speak on with Mixtape for a while. TOO MANY OF Y'ALL BEING TOURIST Until Dawn, The Walking Dead Tell Tale, The Batman, Detroit Become Human, Dispatch, Heavy Rain, Life Is Strange, are ALL BETTER than this. simply because you have to be locked into the story actively & your actions have consequences. Mixtape your have QTE's prompts where you can't fail, what game story progresses with out HAVING to play the game?! The game has mini game sequences like baseball etc, but like there are mini games we've seen in other video games or even interactive games with stakes almost 10 YEARS AGO. I'm usually not a person to cook games, and if you enjoyed Mixtape from the music, to sound, even art direction; it is beautiful in that record but there was no point into making this a game.
