@AvonandsomerRob Depends where you go, and who with. Jet2 to 3* all inc. in Tenerife, yes. 4* in Nice, no. Globally, the Chinese and the Russians are the most obnoxious and hated tourists. The Brits tourists are actually loved in places like Egypt or further East because they are friendly.

@prieurdp Many sites I have worked on are quite dangerous. To enable staff to 'run for the hills' where necessary, the rule is 'reverse parking only.' You doing your supermarket shop is not really relevant to those of us that know. See also: Your driving skills are basic.

Why do people reverse into parking spaces? At first it was one or two misdirected fools, now it's spreading like a disease. It makes no sense. You are only making it so much harder for yourself, and everyone hates you as you block the road trying to get into the space.
