The heartbreaking reason why Red never speaks in Cars 😢 A lot of fans noticed it years ago… Red, the fire truck from Radiator Springs, never says a single word throughout the movie. He laughs. He cries. He reacts emotionally. But he never actually speaks. While Mater jokes that Red is just shy, the real story behind the character is much more sadder. The actor originally cast to voice Red was Joe Ranft, one of Pixar’s most important writers and storytellers, who tragically passed away in a car accident in 2005 before Cars was completed. Instead of replacing him with another actor, Pixar chose to keep only the emotional sounds Joe had already recorded as a tribute to his memory. That’s why Red stays silent in the film. Not because he couldn’t speak… But because Pixar didn’t want anyone else to become Red. One of the quietest characters in Cars ended up carrying one of Pixar’s respectful tributes 🥹

i’m truly shocked and at a loss for words right now. this morning i woke up to an email saying that my (first) twitch payout had been suspended due to fraudulent activity. i was going to submit a support ticket delivering the information it asked me to give them later in the day because i don’t stream for money so i wasn’t concerned about fixing the issue right in that moment. about an hour later i received an email stating that my account has been indefinitely suspended for “fraud” and the only details it gave me was for “purchases”. i actually have not spent money on twitch as poffu. i have been wrongfully suspended for something i haven’t even done. as soon as i saw the email (25 minutes later) i submitted an appeal and it was IMMEDIATELY declined, literally within seconds. i’m completely heartbroken and at a loss. i don’t know what to do in this situation as this has never happened to me before. vtubing has always been my dream and it feels like my journey just ended before it could even begin. if you’re seeing this, thank you for taking the time to read through this. if anyone has any advice or knows how to navigate through this very confusing situation safely, i’m all ears.
