It's hard to argue with Andy Burnham over the damage that deregulation of bus, train & energy companies have caused in Britain. Public transport is a complete joke compared to 30 years ago. Some industries work better under government control. I find it very difficult to understand why any working class person would ever vote for a Conservative-leaning party. And unless you're earning over £100k, which you're not if you're reading this post, you're much better off in a Union at work. Burnham would be a sea change from Starmer, but Wes Streeting has one surprise up his sleeve, which might well get him into Number 10 ahead of the Manchester Mayor. Streeting has hinted he would take Britain back into the EU, without a referendum. If you can name one single benefit Brexit has given this country, or any way Britain has improved since 2016, please feel free to rack your brain and leave suggestions in the comments?

This was either group suicide or murder. I've been diving for 30 years. Rescue and deep dive certified. These divers were effectively dead the moment they went in the water. At 150 feet, with recreational gear and without special gas mix, you're already dead. I'm an absolute madman adrenaline junkie. My hard floor is 120 feet. There was no possible way they were coming back, whether they panicked or not. That dive plan was never going to end with any of them alive.

@Vocal_GenX I know people who have joined a local branch, they are meeting weekly and building a grass roots movement, all busy in spreading the word.

So this is why I’m not ‘sold’ on there being a Restore government next time. It’s OK getting the country out campaigning for 1 constituency but what about in 2029 when we have to campaign for 650 at the same time

@DuxVul I don’t think restore are just pulling off reform and tories in working class areas they are pulling in low propensity voters and labour, turnout will define how they do as will candidate selection but I expect them to be at worst just behind reform and both infront of Labour

I’m a Makerfield resident & I’ve supported Rupert from the very start & im a member.. but I’m being realistic.. people are moving back to Labour here.. wasnt a problem until Restore threw their hat in the ring

I was there today and knocked on doors. There is a huge appetite for Restore Britain. 50+ people who turned up at such short notice were excellent.'

The UK population is 70m. Robinson got 50k to his march. That’s 0.07142857% of Brits. Not ‘a large majority’.
