Flop is a beaut 8s9d2s. Pot 20.5k They check to me, I bet 8k. BB folds utg+2 calls, turn 4h. We both check. River 2h he checks, I bet 11k and he snap calls with A8 and I lose. Should’ve I bet the turn? Should I have bet more on the river?

@DougPolkVids Because exploits sell, it's marketed way to WIN BIG and CRUSH. It's mainly consumer driven because people are looking for get rich quick tricks and don't want to put in the work to learn a difficult complex strategy.

It's interesting to me how much pushback there seems to be against using balanced poker strategies. My hunch is that because these strategies are difficult to understand, people would prefer to imagine they are wrong or at least "worse" than their current playstyle.
