Take it into consideration but should be at the bottom of your list when you're doing rotations in edo department.

Moreso, you can't discard HBA1c because of nice looking FBS. The patient should be doing SMBG, while you check the trend.

As an MO if you're treating a Diabetic patient without knowing their HbA1C, you're not doing a good job. Saw this pt, not financially okay, FBS & RBS - normal, on Sulfonylurea (Red flag) I stood my ground that she needs HbA1C despite her financial situation. HbA1C is 11%.
