No amount of image makeover, biography scripting, staging at Black churches, & subtle gaslighting repurposed as expert legalism can erase the damage that Metro Legal has done to police accountability. This is harmful to Black folks & under-resourced neighborhoods.

Hey Reporters, if politicians feel like they don't have to talk to you if they don't think you're being "nice"to them, that's coercive control and it should be named as such. Public Servants have an obligation to our community which includes making themselves accessible to us.

Amazing how white people can center themselves at a time when BIPOC are saying “we don’t feel safe or supported here” and the response is “you shouldn’t because we opened up strobel house and there’s also a literacy program for Black kids” (9:40-9:58 ish)

Oh my second fav part was Freddie saying that Khalil should ask Wally Dietz about how to curb Nazis from marching legally. That whole interview not going to age well.

Today we celebrate EVERY employees that did not let the illusion of power stop them from doing the right thing, no matter the personal cost. A good time to remind Nashville that at least 40 current and former officers have SPOKEN PUBLICLY about systemic abuses since 2018.
