@ChocolateKieran I agree with this, some pokemon I've come to like recently are Primarina, Mamoswine and Venonat cause I used them in a draft league and they were all stars for me.

I understand the perspective of trying to use your favourite Pokemon when it comes to competitive battles.
BUT in the opposite way, using competitively good Pokemon has actually introduced me to a ton of new favourites I wouldn’t have cared for much otherwise.

@KoreaPistonsFan I'm the sams way, and I think for me it's because I didn't grow up in Michigan, so I don't really have the territorial rivalry. I generally prefer state, but I'm gonna cheer for Michigan every game they aren't playing MSU, and I'm happy when they win.

@PistonsMuse I'll be honest, I think the Spurs could be a rough matchup for us, but we only would have to play them in the finals in playoffs, so we wouldn't have to worry about them for a while. It's an amazing season, we should just be happy about how good it's been so far!
