Do you know how hilarious it was watching people we know we are doing wayyyyyy better than in life (with genuine wealth), call you a wailer, because you are complaining of the situation of the country??? That’s what we’ve endured for 11years in the hands of the APC government.

You think if Tinubu has a speck of dirt on PO, he won't use it to his advantage? I'm sure he gnashes his teeth whenever he remembers there's no corruption case he can use to nail him.

In the state where Pelumi Emmanuel Onifade was killed after filming Abiodun Bolarinwa, an @OfficialAPCNg politician shooting unarmed #EndSARS protesters at point blank range in 2020? You are either off your rocker or pissing on the young man's grave. In the same state, Gawat, known for criticising the insanely corrupt @OfficialAPCNg government on radio, simply DISAPPEARED! YOU ARE ALL MAD, but you will be held to account. I promise.
The Lagos State Govt@followlasg

WORLD PRESS FREEDOM DAY 2026: LASG WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT PRESS FREEDOM, DEMOCRATIC ACCOUNTABILITY The Government of Lagos State has congratulated journalists on the occasion of the Wolrd Press Freedom Day. A free press remains one of the strongest pillars of democracy. The Lagos State Government will continue to support initiatives that promote Press Freedom and Strengthen Democratic Accountability, according to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in a message delivered by Information and Strategy Commissioner Gbenga Omotoso. The theme of this year’s celebration is: "Shaping a Future at Peace: Promoting Press Freedom for Human Rights, Development and Security." "Today presents yet another opportunity for us to deliberate, review our progress over time, and reassess the level of commitment, particularly among key stakeholders, to the true ideals of press freedom," Omotoso quoted the Governor as saying. The theme aptly underscores the critical role of the media in fostering peace, strengthening institutions, and advancing sustainable development. A free press remains one of the strongest pillars of democracy as it gives voice to the voiceless, holds leaders accountable, and serves as a vital bridge between the government and the people. "In today’s rapidly evolving information landscape, the responsibility placed on the media has never been more significant.” He said: "More than ever, the current realities in our country, especially the various reforms being undertaken at different levels of government, make it imperative for members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm to remain committed to objective, balanced, and professional reporting that critically examines government policies while ensuring accountability in a fair and unbiased manner." The Lagos State Government remains committed to promoting transparency, openness, and constructive engagement with the media. “We firmly believe that a well-informed society is fundamental to peace, security, and inclusive development. At the same time, the media must continue to discharge its responsibilities without fear or favour. " The challenges confronting the media today, including the\ growing threats of misinformation and disinformation, coupled with economic pressures and safety concerns for journalists, and poses significant risks to national stability and development. "These challenges call for stronger collaboration among government, media practitioners, civil society, and other stakeholders to safeguard the integrity of our information ecosystem. As we approach another electoral cycle in our country, the role of the media becomes even more critical. The press will undoubtedly serve as a key stakeholder in shaping public discourse during the electioneering process. This makes it essential for all actors to uphold the principles of ethical journalism, fairness, and national interest," the Governor said. He also stressed the need for sustained investment in media literacy, support for ethical journalism, and the creation of an enabling environment where the press can operate freely without undue interference. "I wish to assure you that the Lagos State Government will continue to support initiatives that promote press freedom, protect journalists, and strengthen democratic accountability,” Sanwo-Olu said. The most consequential foreign policy is domestic competence. Every serious political or policy leader knows this ABC of public policy. The unarguable deficit of our domestic competence is really what exposes our Citizens abroad to all manner of indignities in other nations. Therefore, our daunting problems must be competently solved here at home. The world does not respect a junketing leader who leaves behind serial failure of governance at home to traverse stages in other countries. The solutions to our problems are not in those foreign capitals that seem to hold so much appeal for those in public office. When we have leaders that ethically, competently and capably put in the work for Nigeria to Become, no country and their people would dare lift a finger against our citizens in prejudicial ways. Again, the most consequential foreign policy is domestic competence. Domestic Competence and strategic travels as instrument of global influence. Definitely not what exists now - perennial foreign travels as mere symbols and performance. ✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾

Think about it, Peter Obi ran under LP. A Party that didn't even have much relevance at the time. The first time Peter Obi ran, he was the third in the race. First time! No God father. Structure. He even won in Lagos State. That's phenomenal to say the least. Phenomenal. I believe in the man.

Peter Obi cooked something in the last election though! Totally unprecedented!! Totally! It was such a run!! One man reawakened people’s interest in Labour Party. Rode over all the political structures and got himself a massive following. No wonder the likes of @renoomokri can’t stop talking about him. Peter Obi is a political movement! It is foolishness to deny it. President Tinubu worked most of his life to earn those votes, yet Peter Obi came up strongly as a worthy opposition! If Peter Obi and Atiku merges, the political landscape will change greatly. However, if Peter Obi ever becomes Atiku’s vice, that may be his political suicide because obidients won’t accept the merger even if it comes with the best political intent. It will rather come accross as a betrayal of faith. APC has consistently over-promised and under-delivered. I will love to see a real change!! That change we thought we were going to see with the Buhari/Osinbajo merger.

Obi Knows His Game… He’s one of the Best Politicians Nigeria has ever had…He is 10 steps ahead without staining his hands. While he was joining them in coalition meeting, he had his backup in place, Ensured the Senate President announced it officially to avoid court case, while smiling with his senior brothers…

Bold of you to think Moniepoint has 500 vacancies… The CEO made that statement just to hype the company. A company that recently locked up a customer “Adebayo Oluwanifemi” for 9 days in detention and took him from Lagos to Force Headquarters Abuja just because he aired his opinion on Moniepoint charges. Very useless oppressors. Never take them seriously!
