No greater Joy than being a person of Truth. It is the ultimate Ace for Peace. Whatever your traducers may do, they will come back someday and meet you where you were and always will be- calmly sitting with the Solid Rock known as The Truth which never falters.

A picture as we met on Tuesday here in Brazil for our Fundacio Dom Cabral’s - FDC @DomCabral Board of Trustees meeting. On my right is Professor Mozart Pereira dos Santos, President of the Board of Trustees and Subramanian Rangan, Professor of Strategy and Management, INSEAD on my left. Great colleagues! I get to deeply admire and appreciate the Power of Acting on Vision as a member of the BoT of this historic Latin American Business school. In 2025, Fundação Dom Cabral was ranked among the world’s top 10 business schools in Executive Education by the Financial Times- a remarkable achievement for an institution rooted in Brazil that now competes with the best in the world. The school’s role in helping build the Brazilian business sector is exceptional. FDC was established by two visionaries fifty years ago- Professor Emerson de Almeida Co-founder & President of the Board Committee and Cardinal Dom Serafim Fernandes de Araújo, a prelate of the Catholic Church who served as Archbishop of Belo Horizonte from 1986 to 2004 as an autonomous institution dedicated to executive education. Everything I know about FDC’s journey validates and brightens my hopes for what our @TheSPPG will accomplish in the development of a new genre of public leaders across countries of Africa over the next two decades. We shall build an Africa where public leadership is characterised by character, competence, and capacity, and serves the common good. So help us God as we continue to work our vision like my friends at FDC have done in five decades. ✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾

I want to deeply appreciate @obyezeks for the invitation and the time given to me to speak in today’s School of Politics, Policy and Governance class. The conversation and teaching were truly profound and revealing. One thing that stayed with me was your closing remark, that the economic state of many African countries is not accidental, but by design. They are the outcome of choices that eventually shape policy. To move out of this crisis will take more than resources. It will require, above all, a reform of mindset. Better thinking leads to better choices, and in time, better policies. Thank you again, ma. It was truly monumental for me to meet you on a personal level.

This is my new video on YouTube about how Nigeria went from having 24 international merchant ships in 1964 to none by 2026. The decline was largely driven by corruption and embezzlement. Many of the ships were eventually seized in foreign ports due to unpaid debts. Here’s the link: youtu.be/errSZ8pZoA8 I really wish this video will go viral. If this comes across your timeline, please share.

Today is the 4th Sunday of Lent and historically celebrated as Mothering Sunday in the UK and several other countries. It is now known as Mother’s Day globally. And yes, when the Second Sunday of May comes, we mothers expect you all to globally celebrate us again for another Mother’s Day, this time with its origins in the United States. I asked one of my sons to help design a beautiful graphic of the comparisons between the March and May celebrations of Mothers to help folks understand. Please don’t ever complain about “too many celebrations of Women” as you may have done in past years.😄 All mothers, whether biological, adoptive, spiritual, and those who nurture others through care and guidance are Gifts to the world. The work mothers do is sacred and our impact cannot be measured. Celebrate Mothers Big Time today. Celebrate us EVERYDAY. Celebrate us Big Time again in May. Happy Mothering Sunday….. Happy Mother’s Day to my fellow mothers all over the world! I miss you dearly, #Unforgettable Ezigbo Nnem-Ochie Dike Mama!❤️💜💝

Happiest and glorious 72nd birthday to #MyEndlessLove #MyPastor #MyShepherdInLove #MyCounsellor #MyTeacher #MyIncomparableFriendOfLife “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord- plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 God had a plan when He beautifully and awesomely made you, my dearest husband. For the pulpit, yes, but also for our love, our marriage, and the life we have built and still building together. You shepherd everyone with incredible sacrificial love. You are my model of what it means to have character and your consistency is one of the most beautiful things I witness in my life with you. May this new year overflow with the harvest of every seed you have sown and every prayer you have offered. May God now turn His full attention to blessing you incomparably in this season of Brand New Beginnings in Jesus name. I love you- publicly, privately, day and night, in good and not so good times, completely, and for ever. Heaven is cheering for you every day, Pastor Chinedu Ezekwesili, my Beloved! 🎂 🎉🥳🎊🎈🤩😍🤗💜🥇🏆 ✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾

A year ago, Bogi Eliasen- my fellow Richard von Weizacker Fellow at Bosch Academy had in his own words “stalked” me so much until I capitulated and agreed to join the Africa and Global Board of the Movement Health Foundation. The truth is that I have been turning down and intentionally refusing to renew Board roles as I am frankly “over-boarded”. This week, we’ve been in South Africa - J’Bourg and Port Elizabeth with my colleagues on the Global Board and the MHF’s leadership team, and held our Board meeting in Africa for the first time as well as engaging with partners working to strengthen health systems across our continent. In Port Elizabeth, I was the Keynote Speaker at a symposium co-hosted with the Nelson Mandela University. The symposium focus on Digital Health Wallets and Patient Identifiers critically placed the Citizens at the center of Health Systems reforms especially leveraging technology. Last night in Johannesburg, our Board met with leaders from healthcare, technology, and philanthropy to explore collaborations that can accelerate digital health solutions. We got a hands-on feel of the initiatives MHF has in South Africa and Ghana to improve the patient journey in cancer care and expand pharmacy-based healthcare services. For me, this week gladdened my heart that I said yes to Bogi’s persistence as we saw the exponential scale of impact on citizens’s wellbeing and productivity that is possible as Africa embraces digital health systems. If you’re working to advance digital health, innovation, or stronger health systems in Africa, we at MHF would love to connect. 🤝 Our mantra is : 𝙎𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝. Grateful to all my colleagues on the Board for a meaningful Board engagement: Ana Rita Gonzalez Rolf Hoenger Tobias Silberzahn Dr. Christine Ngaruiya Julie Wynne Emilio Santelices Cuevas Peter Aadal Miquel Díaz Pascual and the management team led by Bogi Eliasen: Magdalena Stachowicz Imane Zouein Olga J Gil T. I highly appreciate how more engaged people across nations have become with the #InternationalWomensDay. It was not so for many decades when IWD used to be a mostly women’s affair. So, yes, our world has come a long way on the awareness that women’s advancement multiplies benefits across families, communities, economies and nations. Legislation and policy accuracy, public, private sector actions are slower than should be. #GiveToGain as the Campaign theme for IWD2026 is a clarion call to accelerate what works to advance the cause of girls and women: Mentor and sponsor girls and women, provide access to education and skills, provide leadership opportunities, Fund women-focused initiatives, advocate for policies and legislations that remove barriers, give fairness and justice all the time. In 2026, our countries, continent and world must refuse to accept a state of affairs in which women have only 64 per cent of the legal rights that men hold worldwide. Let’s make the next wish of a Happy International Women’s Day 2027 and beyond to girls and women be truly meaningful because governments, businesses and all of society worked on the 2026 Theme: Rights. Justice. Action. In anticipation, I wish a Happy International Women’s Day to sisters - young and old- all over the world! 🫂🤗✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾

I was recently in Addis Ababa at the Africa Union Summit and caught up with some of our favorite leaders in the world- Big Sisters who excelled in political leadership of their countries and continue to lead with impact outside of office. I afterwards posted our picture on a group page and asked the men to compete and win an Ethiopian shirt from me by correctly naming each of these outstanding leaders. One out of many men correctly identified 3 of 4 of these inspiring women who are political leaders. I was generous and decided to award him the Ethiopian shirt nonetheless Left to right: Dr Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka - former Deputy President of South Africa Professor Ameenah Gurib-Fakim - former President of Mauritius Ellen Johnson- Sirleaf - former President of Liberia Dr Joyce Banda - Former President of Malawi It is a puzzle that majority of men hardly know the answers to questions about Women in Leadership. The younger generation of men shall do better, especially those we are training @TheSPPG . ✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾

There is no other evident pathway to Development of our continent than Human Capital- the knowledge, skills, health, and capabilities that our people should accumulate and use to be productive members of our countries and continent and the economy. Unfortunately, the foundation of it, which we call Foundational Level- composed of basic literacy, numeracy and socio-emotional skills of children in primary 1, 2 and 3 is totally broken. Do you know that 9 out of every 10 children in school on our continent is not achieving minimum proficiency levels of Learning Outcomes in those 3 skills by the age of 10? As the 2026 Keynote Speaker for the Malawian Government’s Education Sector Review, I reflected on “Achieving Education Sector Results Through Reforms: Ensuring Efficient and Sustainable Financing for Improved Learning Outcomes”. It was a data-rich and evidence-based Speech and I concluded by asking Malawians to daily ask their President and Minister of Education- “What Did Our Children Learn in School Today?” The citizens loved it. Even their Minister of Education made me promise to call always and ask him that question - “What Did Our Children Learn in School Today?” 😊 That really is the critical Accountability Question that will help turn things around for over 50million children who are schooling but not learning on our continent. We know what works to improve Learning Outcomes and therefore how so solvable the crisis is for those who have the power and will. JustDoIt. ✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾
