One of the best parts of launching an open attention market is watching people try to game it.
In the first 100 hours we already crossed 2,000+ registered users and the model has digested 12,000+ WOM tweets across every cohort on X - CT veterans, founders, skeptics, believers, lurkers, etc.
Then came the adversarial side: GM rings, copypastas, engagement pods - the classic InfoFi playbook.
We’ve already identified ~640 users running the usual InfoFi tactics.
Rather than pruning them from the leaderboard mid-campaign, we decided to keep them visible while disqualifying rewards on the backend. This gives the model better contrast and makes the separation problem much easier going forward.
It also lets others try to mimic their tactics in the open, with every imaginable attempt to outrank them, which expands the adversarial surface and gives the model more edge cases to chew on. So we’re leaving them as-is for now and letting human psychology do the heavy lifting.
Because markets don’t scale on ideal behavior - they scale on real behavior. That’s why we partnered with one of the only real big-data companies in crypto to ingest and settle attention at size. Announcements soon - but it’s going to give WOM a serious advantage, even against some of the 9-figure InfoFi platforms that have been around for years.
InfoFi was the warmup. AttentionFi is the main event.
