I love Twitch as a platform.
However, the people managing the platform are so delulu it’s insane.
All viewers are important, but lurkers are literally the backbone of the platform.
It isn’t COVID anymore—people have jobs to go to, families and friends to visit, and so many responsibilities.
Not every viewer on Twitch is able to just sit and actively watch a stream while maintaining conversation with the content creator.
(If you are that’s amazing, we love you, but)
Lurkers are people too, and they are some of the most important ones.
They are the people who show up to support you every day without ever asking for anything in return.
