The Oxnard Police Department has taken the alleged suspect from today’s shooting near College Park into custody. Oxnard College remains open. Thank you.

The victim of a nearby shooting in College Park came onto campus this evening seeking assistance. Police responded, helped the victim, & are looking for a suspect who was last seen running in the opposite direction of the OC campus. There is no threat to the campus at this time.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: OC campus police and the Oxnard Police Department took an uncooperative individual into custody at approximately 12:30pm today who was reportedly armed with a knife on the south side of campus. No injuries were reported.
