In America we grew up watching Are you Smarter than a 5th grader (my fav), jeopardy and informative cartoons. Now the kids are watching love island. The other day I asked my 12 year old cousin to tell me the time on a wall clock, his response “they haven’t taught me that yet”😭

We grew up watching who wants to be a millionaire, cowbell mathematics competition, spelling bee etc.. Now we’re stuck with BBN, peller and the likes and you can’t see the problem?

@OyariDaniel @emeka_etigwe The day i was shocked about this generation was when I tried asking a family friend basic multiplication table. The kid was in ss2 preparing for waec and he didn’t know the answer to 12 * 12. We might end up outsourcing basic things if we don’t fight this olodo uprising
