Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026. My husband, Abraham, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer. He faces major challenges in the coming weeks and months. At this time, I must step away from public service to be by his side and fully support him through this battle.

Before a Friday night game against West Valley High School, the 57 players from the opposing team showed incredible sportsmanship. As the players ran onto the field, one by one, they laid an orange rose at Ashley’s feet. Orange is the designated color for leukemia awareness. Adamietz was brought to tears and later shared her gratitude on social media, stating that it was one of the best nights of her life. #HIAW 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
