@P5XPosting For the long loading (take your time) screen that last 9 hours? I have no idea of what’s the fix for this tbh. This has never occurred to me ever. I always run Proton 10 and/or experimental and my game works fine

Good news: I finally got P5X downloaded on my steam deck, up and running by the time it requested my account info. Bad news: Once I booted up the game, I was stuck on this infinite loading screen. I thought it would've loaded after my shift, AND ITS STILL LOADING AFTER 9 HOURS.

@_ypn1_ It shouldn't work like that from my knowledge. The file path isn't supposed to be attached to any additional files or extra protons to launch the app itself.

@P5XPosting I asked Gemini for instructions on how to do it and I got it running. It told me to use protontricks to fix the file pathing for the game.

@AltairShiomi_ Tried every single one listed on your screenshots, including the ones that most likely don't look like would work, but it still didn't work for me.

@P5XPosting P5X Steam deck player here Seems like a compatibility issue Try to change it to the proton 9.something versión Or the 10.something (I don't remember the exact numbers)

@CyberStudios808 The first one I tried was in fact experimental, since it worked for almost anything. Surprisingly it didn't work, so I moved down the list.
