@marunmagesh @travisgoodspeed If 'below $10' is cheap enough, try searching 'Holyiot nrf5340' on Ali. They have a module based on the 5340.
English

@travisgoodspeed it's annoying hard to find a nrf5340 module which is cheap enough to buy like 4 - 5 units to experiment with glitching.
English

Just wondering, who has a working voltage glitch for extracting firmware from the nRF5340?

@ZhaoFen37759626 Calculating the impedances for 2.5GHz from the table with that gives +3.169+j5.190 Ohm for the input impedance and 14.225-j4.469 Ohm for the output. So my guess for the real part of S11 was a bit too high, the other values almost spot on.
English

@ZhaoFen37759626 complex_impedance = (1 + reflection_coefficient_S) / (1 - reflection_coefficient_S) * normalized_impedance
Where:
normalized_impedance = 50
angle_in_radians = angle_in_degrees / 180 * pi

@remcodenbesten @eb4fbz @uhf_satcom Sorry for not being more clear. What I meant was that the document you post (for the TFF1015) does go into detail, where the app note for the TFF1044 that I read earlier didn't. The app note for the TFF1015 indeed clearly states that balanced signals should work better.
English

The Red Extend submitted for a novel ext REF injection method, suggested by a friend of mine. Symmetrical injection reduces PLL noise, he said. Just tested the modified LNB and it works excellent. AL of FB = 470 nH and 4 wdg (XL = ca. 1.2 kΩ. Xfrmr is 1:1 (not bifilar). #qo100

English

@remcodenbesten @eb4fbz @uhf_satcom Thanks for the pointer. The TFF1044's application note doesn't go into that much detail about its reference inputs.
English

@PA4DAN @eb4fbz @uhf_satcom NXP has an application note concerning balanced injection and phase noise. This is the link: nxp.com/docs/en/applic…
Indeed, the Inverto Red Extend LNB contains a TFF1015.

@eb4fbz @remcodenbesten @uhf_satcom On my PCB I have AC grounded one pin and only connected a reference signal to
the other. The thought of feeding it a balanced signal to reduce phase noise
hadn't crossed my mind yet. When I get back to working on the LNB I'll do some measurements on this to see if it helps.
English

@eb4fbz @remcodenbesten @uhf_satcom AC grouding one pin and measuring the minimum required external reference
signal on the other showed that it accepts exactly the same level on either of
the two pins. At least the TFF1044HN seems to have a fully balanced crystal
oscillator inside.

@F5OEOEvariste @LimeMicro @natsfr (In case it could be of any help: I still have the code to e.g. calculate the LUTs etc. around somewhere, but seeing that you're already successfully transmitting with your code I think you're not going to need help there. 🙃 )
English

@F5OEOEvariste @LimeMicro @natsfr Great work! This was on my TODO-list as well. Years ago I created a PCB with 2x XC9572, 2x 10ns SRAMs and a TX DAC. With a bit of creativity, a 128KB lookup table allowed me to create near-perfect DVB-S signals with DAC rates upto 100Msmps and 16x oversampling.
