#missiommonday Our Recovery Resource Center (RRC) is made available to all PACE clients. Through our experience working with returning citizens, we’ve observed that while many individuals leaving prison have access to mental health and recovery services, those transitioning from county jails often face significant gaps in care. Upon release, they may not be enrolled in healthcare programs, lack access to therapy or counseling, be uncertain about necessary medications, and be unsure which mental health services will best support their success. We’ve also seen a significant rise in the demand for behavioral health services, underscoring the growing need for guidance and support as individuals navigate this critical transition. Become a client today to receive the support you need. paceindy.org/start-here

This #MissionMonday, we're discussing Launching Your Career. Launching Your Career, introduced in 2023, is already demonstrating success for participants. We accept clients 18 years of age and older who have a felony conviction or five or more misdemeanors. The services offered by PACE are essential for its clients, who are often disadvantaged due to their involvement with the criminal justice system. The Bureau of Justice Statistics reports that the re-entry population is less educated, less likely to be gainfully employed, and more likely to have a history of mental illness or substance abuse. These are all risk factors for recidivism. Additionally, having a criminal conviction limits employment opportunities, public housing assistance, and other social services. Without intervention, almost 35% of previously incarcerated people in Indiana will re-offend within three years. 58% percent of PACE clients reside in neighborhoods identified as having the city’s highest crime rates. Paceintake.org is where you can start your journey.

This # MissionMonday, we are talking about the Family Empowerment Program. Parents impacted by incarceration need to have their needs met holistically as they adjust to life after incarceration. Simultaneously, their children need opportunities for individual growth during this transformative time in their lives. To meet this need, PACE is expanding opportunities for our clients’ children to participate in positive social experiences while the parent(s) take advantage of retreat-style events focused on self-care and family life skills. Become a client by going to paceintake.org to get started today!
