There are so many ways to help prevent suicide! Listening to others, reaching out for help, supporting local and national organizations, building relationships, and knowing what to look for are things we can start doing today.

The week of September 8-12 is recognized as Suicide Prevention Week. Schools can play a key role in suicide prevention. The task of all professionals involved in and dedicated to the education of children is to help prevent death by suicide whenever possible.
