PATH Service Update – Hoboken Earlier today, a fire in the tunnel just outside Hoboken Station damaged a section of running rail and third rail infrastructure. The station and three berthed trains were evacuated as a precaution. No customers were injured. Hoboken–WTC and Hoboken–33 St service remains suspended while crews replace the damaged rail components and conduct required safety checks and test trains before service can resume. Cross-honoring remains in effect with NJ TRANSIT and NY Waterway. Additional train service is operating on the Journal Square–33 St line, and Newark–WTC service continues to run normally. @PATHTrain is investigating the cause of the fire, and crews continue repair work and required safety checks. Our focus is on restoring service safely and getting Hoboken riders back on track as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience as we work to get service back up and running.

🚨 PATH TRAVEL ADVISORY 🚨 Service to Remain Suspended at PATH Hoboken Station Through This Evening Due to Earlier Smoke Condition; Travelers Urged to Utilize Alternate Travel Options Through this evening, Friday, Feb. 27, PATH service will remain suspended on the Hoboken-33 St and Hoboken-World Trade Center lines due to repairs following an earlier smoke condition in the track area. Customers are urged to utilize alternate travel options, outlined below. The Newark-World Trade Center and Journal Square-33 St lines remain in operation. PATH will provide supplemental service between 33 St and World Trade Center via Newport and Exchange Place to accommodate connections. Additional passenger information agents will be available to assist customers.
