@Riley_Gaines_ Agreed. She didn’t have to say anything regarding race. The more we ignore race as a factor in everything, the better a society we will be.

@VengefulReaper @MrsCharatan @lifeinchaos_ My god it’s 2 year olds going on a walk. You’re some virgin fuck mad at everything, stop being so soft “vengeful reaper” lol
English

@MrsCharatan @lifeinchaos_ Yes, there is. Teach the kids to hold each other's hands. And walk together. Most daycare centers have like 3 teachers. It shouldn't be this hard to do.

@hoosier_comrade Stop being retarded, I graduated
From IU and I will be cheering for them. I also had a grandfather who went to ND and grew up catholic in Indiana. Both sides are acting like dipshits.
English

For the record I think anyone can cheer for who they want to. University is a privilege and being able to go to Indiana isn’t the right choice for everyone BUT these elitist Hoosiers who cheer for ND and look down at us while not even going there are absurd
Hoosier Comrade@hoosier_comrade
Post your degree challenge I challenge all the ND fans in my mentions!

@iamalmostlegend @ChiTownSam723 As the most attractive white male ever, I gotta say, sometimes you need to understand satire
English

@ChiTownSam723 5/5 This country loves attractive White people regardless of what they do, because that’s been in the fabric of this country since 1776.
English

If you’re an attractive White guy, you can be a murderer and people will be fascinated, call you a hero, and offer to pay your legal bills.
If you’re an attractive White woman, you can sleep with 100 men in 24 hours, cry about it, and people will feel sorry for you as you strive for 1,000 the next time.

@iamalmostlegend If you’re 42 and white you just like watch sports and shit like thst.

@ARSanborn603 @GreggDoyelStar Curious, why do you retards get so mad at journalists for doing their job?

Of all schools, cheating UNC is the one to hire cheating Bill Belichick? Never change, Tar Heels.
You know Belichick won’t.

#NeverDaunted
I apologize for commenting on this so late, as I have been quite busy.
As a winter graduate, I am deeply proud of the football team's success, especially considering that this season has been the most outstanding in our school's history.
I have never witnessed a coach spark such joy in a town that needed it more, allowing us to celebrate a sport in which we were once struggling.
However, I need help with the university's ethics and morals regarding the Winter graduation ceremony on campus.
My concern isn't solely about moving the commencement date early for a football game; it's about how graduation itself will be handled.
Forcing students to be booted out of their graduation for the school's higher ranked faculty to get out of town and watch a football game is unfair.
Many of us have invested significant money, energy, and time—around $100,000 over four years—into our education.
It’s disheartening to feel sidelined on one of the most important days of our lives, especially when so many students have sacrificed finances, energy, and personal time to study hard, prepare for exams, and manage responsibilities as workers, employees, and parents. Being pushed aside for a football game feels morally unjust.
I understand this is not just any football game—it is a first-round matchup in the College Football Playoffs against Notre Dame in South Bend on a Friday night.
While I acknowledge your perspective, it raises an important question: As a human being living on Earth with only one life, do you believe that leaving Bloomington to watch a college football game—something that can be viewed at home, during work, or streamed on a laptop—should require sacrificing the years of hard work we’ve put into our education and achievements?
Many of us will not have the opportunity to stand on that football field at Notre Dame Stadium, and unless the university provides tickets, which that cash could also be used to help pay off years of student loan debt, this game holds little meaning if it prioritizes material goods over student wellbeing.
This is not a statement protesting the IU football team; this is not their fault. Like many of you, I am an avid IU sports fan and proud alum, tweeting, writing, and posting online about our team and brand onto social media. However, a fundamental aspect of human existence is celebrating our achievements off the field, not just on it.
What Coach Cignetti has accomplished with our team has brought immense joy to my life, a joy I may never experience again, especially as a student.
This admiration is not against Coach Cignetti or his team; it is directed toward our leadership. Sitting at Franklin Hall, I often see conferences featuring President Whitten and her staff, who seem to prioritize material goods over human accomplishments.
That deminer has defined how the university plans to handle itself after I am gone. This isn't just demoralizing; it isn't just hurtful; it puts salt in the wound of what made Indiana University one of the best colleges for speaking one's mind without needing a filter to silence everybody.
The future for Indiana University (IU) from an administrative standpoint isn't very bright. However, the outlook for the football team is much more promising. It has the potential to unite us and help us move past the issues caused by President Whitten's administration.
While she and her team have love bombed their identity and shape it around the football team's success as a way to create an identity for the university, this approach feels cruel and misaligned with the team itself.
I hope this will be the last time I write about IU's corruption, and I look forward to graduating with pride as I witness the football team and other aspects of our university flourish.
Go IU!

@Red_Dead_Fred “Bulletin Board Material” affects like 3 plays at the beginning of a game. It’s the most overrated thing in terms of impact in any sport.

@Duckbeak1210 @PB23aledog @RTRBama3 @Andrew_Bev @Lane_Kiffin By the way, if the ponies lose to Clemson tonight- they are out with that schedule they played…
English

Regardless of the outcome, Ole Miss is in a position to achieve its third season of 10+ wins in the last four years. Kiffin's second Ole Miss team in 2021 was the first 10-win regular season ever. The 2023 team broke the school record for 11 total wins in a season. A potential third 10-win team would give the Rebels their first three-out-of-four since the early 1960's. The last time that happened was in 1959, 1960 and then again in 1962. The common denominator is Ole Miss claiming national championships in each of those seasons (prior to the BCS and CFP era). @OleMissFB

@JimNagy_SB I’m not saying LSU should be in the show. But like you said. They’re a farm for top tier league players. The SEC is the toughest conference and it’s not even close. But this is why the playoff system was adopted so the lesser teams will get their participation trophies.
English

As someone with access to college tape and staff of 11 former NFL scouts that logged hundreds of hours evaluating this CFB season, it's easy to see why SEC coaches are upset with final playoff bracket.
Based strictly off future NFL talent, Alabama, South Carolina, & Ole Miss (and you can even throw in Florida, Texas A&M, and LSU for that matter) are all easily in Top-12.
SEC ADs now have no incentive for scheduling tough non-conference opponents moving forward, which is too bad for college fans.
English

@JJOneOfOne I just want to make it known how bad Georgia got screwed last year. They would have been favorites against the other 5 schools on this board. Michigan got very lucky to pull Alabama and Washington.

This tweet upset some folks, so let me clarify:
No one wants to listen to 3 women talk football. Men are better at it— it’s like asking cats to bark.
I issue no apology and no retracts. Most people agree with me, they’re just afraid to say it.
Carry on with your outrage.
T.J. Moe@TJMoe28
Who actually wants to watch three women stand around and talk about football? I do not.
