We wrapped up my kid’s Little League game in Central Park this morning, started walking home, and Tom Hanks casually walks past us. New York City. Is. Crazy!

@realEstateTrent It’s insane, the laws have to change. Once you sign and give the contractor money, you work for THEM. The levels of incompetence are astonishing to go along with the lies around how long things take and cost

Yet another person I know is dealing with massive issues with the contractor building their house. Huge mistakes made, construction stopped, contractor blaming others, attorneys getting involved, and years of litigation ahead. It's a nightmare, and sadly all too common.

It’s Game 7 of the World Series, bases loaded, 2 outs, tie game, in the bottom of the 9th. You can choose any batter in baseball in their prime to get you a hit… WHO DO YOU CHOOSE?

@SonnyCrockett92 Top 5 episode, maybe even top 2… McGill is fantastic. Use of Brothers in Arms over a protracted ending is incredible

Sonny Crockett (Parody)
Sonny Crockett (Parody)@SonnyCrockett92·
Did you know? In Miami Vice — “Out Where the Buses Don’t Run,” Hank Weldon, played by Bruce McGill, wasn’t just written as a rogue cop. He was a dark reflection of Crockett. McGill played Weldon like a man who crossed the line a long time ago… and just kept walking. His performance feels like a guy living inside the case 24/7. No charm. No release valve. No way back. Meanwhile, Don Johnson plays Crockett with restraint, almost like he’s staring at a possible future version of himself. That’s what makes the dynamic so good: Weldon = what happens when you go too far. Crockett = the man walking the edge. Tubbs = the last piece of perspective, watching it all from the outside. Director David Anspaugh also frames Weldon differently — tighter, harsher, more boxed in — like the man is trapped inside his own mind. And that famous reveal? The body hidden for years wasn’t just a twist. It was Weldon’s confession without words. He didn’t lose the suspect, pal. He decided the outcome. See you out there, pal. 🌴☀️

@realEstateTrent I know you’re UES, but if you’re playing Yorkville, take a look at Peter Cooper/Stuy Town baseball. Much better coaching. It makes a big difference in how they enjoy the game

Yesterday, my six-year-old son had his first Little League game of the year. I absolutely kid you not when I say I think at least a third of the parents on the team truly believe their son will one day make the major leagues.

Travis Kelce would have commanded top dollar in the TE market. But he'd rather stay with the #Chiefs, catch passes from Patrick Mahomes, and have a shot at another Super Bowl.
Ian Rapoport@RapSheet

Back for more: #Chiefs future Hall of Fame TE Travis Kelce is expected to return to Kansas City for a 14th season, a message that’s been delivered to teams who will want him. At 36, Kelce’s play was at its usual level, landing him in the Pro Bowl. He’s loyal to KC & will stay.
