International trade agreements are never perfect for everyone. But Prime Minister Carney and his team have crafted an exceptional set of deal and initiatives at a very difficult time in our history. Overall grade A+ from me. More to come.

Why are we cooperating with the arm of the Chinese government that runs secret police stations on our soil?

BREAKING: The Liberal government, egged on by Mark Carney, violated the Charter rights they claim to revere. In particular, they violated the fundamental freedom to expression protected by Section 2 and the freedom from unreasonable seizure protected by Section 8 of the Charter. This is now a matter of fact, established by two separate Federal courts. Will the Liberals now apologize for violating the basic rights of Canadians?

🚨 JUST IN: In a chilling escalation, Canadian PM Mark Carney warned America by saying, "Our full partnership and obligations to Article 5 stand. We stand FULLY BEHIND them." Canada will back Denmark on Greenland; this comes in response to U.S. plans of annexing Greenland.

Wab Kinew on Doug Ford's boycott of Crown Royal: "Taking LCBO products off the shelves — a big billion dollar foreign owned business, they're going to be just fine. But who's actually going to be hurt by this? ... Hard workin' blue collar Manitobans."

I don't get why some far right Conservative posters are saying Trump would be upset if we traded more with other countries. He said we don't need anything from Canada. So why would he be upset if other countries wanted what we have to offer?

The United States is a hair away from war with Denmark and Europe, our allies. Literally. Does Pierre want to cheer on Trump again? If the Conservatives don't have the patriotic guts to fire Pierre in this crucial moment of world history, they're treasonous traitors.

Interesting to see the meltdown by right-wing accounts about Carney's visit to China. Only natural to expand trade ties with a country that's been around for 5000 years, and one that increasingly is going to dominate world trade and tech.

We tariff Chinese EV 100% but we actually make very few EV here in Canada. We raise our retail costs to protect a US industry that wants to repatriate all Canadian auto manufacturing. I say make a deal with China, build some BYD cars here, bring others from China.

While we’re on the topic of sovereignty, Mark Carney had a choice to make during his visit to China: lead with principle, or bow to the will of Xi. He chose the latter by ordering his MPs out of Taiwan. Taiwan is a vibrant democracy, a trusted partner, and a nation in every meaningful sense. 🇹🇼 Canada should lead by example. It’s time to open an embassy in Taipei. thestar.com/news/world/eve…

China calls on Canada to distance itself from U.S. influence as Carney visits Beijing

It’s amazing how many Americans and Canadians are angry at Canada’s PM visit to China. But what is Canada going to do? Trump has made it clear he has zero interest in working with Canada. Yesterday he said there is nothing Canada produces that the US needs and said Canada has been “very nasty in trade with the US”. If POTUS doesn’t recognize the importance of the US Canada relationship and is willing to throw that away, the only natural response from Canada is to pivot to someone else. China is already the top trading partner with 120 countries around the globe. Canada also is home to many of the most vibrant overseas Chinese communities in the world. The partnership and vision of Canada and a China working closer together only makes logical sense. One trade deal proposal would see Chinese EVs come to Canada and more Canadian seafood going to China. It’s a win-win for both countries. In these crazy times of geopolitical chaos, the world needs to work together and prosper. As we’ve seen in 2025, trade wars and tariffs fail and are not sustainable in long term. Kudos to Carney for seeking more opportunities to help Canada in the future

🇨🇦 Canada finally hit #1 in the world …for household debt. 🚨 We don’t own more. We just owe more. 📉 #Canada #Cdnpoli #GDP #Debt

There's basically a 0% chance that Mark Carney actually stands up to China when he visits this week.

Canadians 🇨🇦 If you’re planning to go into the United States-don’t. March Break plans? Cancel them. It’s not safe. It’s extremely dangerous right now. Travel if you want just stay in Canada or go elsewhere.
