The Phantoms came up short in a three game series to the Cinnaminson Crew. Thank you to our fans for a great season.

The Pine Barrens climb into the 10 seed as of tonight: Pine Barrens 9, Blackwood Bears 0 Frankie McCartney struck out 10 Bears over six innings. He allowed just two hits. Jack Gilmer had two hits and three RBI while Mark Wickersham went 3-3 with two RBI.

Last night goes straight into the baseball Twilight Zone! up 16-8 in the 7th and somehow we are walking off the field in a forfeit. One phantom was ejected and now suspended one game. (Name stays internal) Not pretty but we will overcome !

Phantoms travel to Cherry Hill today for a 6:10 start time. Should be a good game!

Sources say Connor is “intrigued” by the idea of a trade after being rudely asked to run out both a routine grounder and a pop fly in last week’s gritty win vs BT. One teammate called it “the darkest day since sunflower seeds ran out.”

Numerous callers on Phantoms talk radio 94.2 mentioning the selflessness of Arsenault moving from full time catcher to passing the baton to highly touted rookie Antonio Bruno.

Another unbeaten falls tonight: Pine Barrens 4, Cinnaminson Crew 1 A HUGE game from pitcher Kevin McGovern who recorded a CG with 17 K's. McGovern also went 2-3 with an RBI. Joey Steff a perfect night, going 3-3 with a walk.
